House Rules
Everyone is warmly welcome at Landgoed 't Waetermeschien.
We kindly ask our guests to treat the accommodation, nature, surroundings and everyone who lives here – from neighbours to frogs – with respect. By following the house rules below, we can all enjoy a pleasant stay together.
Smoke-free & pet-free
Our accommodations are smoke-free and pet-free, allowing guests with allergies to enjoy a carefree stay.
Smoking outdoors is permitted. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly and use the ashtrays provided. Cigarette butts belong in residual waste and can cause both fire hazards and pollution in nature.
Respect for others and the surroundings
At Landgoed 't Waetermeschien, you're welcome to relax, play and enjoy your stay. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of fellow guests, neighbours and the surrounding environment.
Parties, events and excessive noise are not permitted.
Comfortable, but mindful energy use
We want our guests to enjoy a comfortable stay. At the same time, we ask everyone to use gas, water and electricity responsibly and to avoid unnecessary consumption.
If you wish to use high-energy appliances you have brought with you, such as portable air conditioners, electric heaters or similar equipment, please discuss this with us in advance.
Please do not feed the animals
Our chickens and cat receive the right food and are well cared for. Wild animals should not be fed either.
Would you like to feed the chickens or have a look at the bees? Just ask us – we'd be happy to make this possible.
Safe use of the BBQ and fire bowl
A BBQ or fire bowl makes for a wonderful evening outdoors, but requires extra care.
Due to the risk of fire in the dunes and surrounding nature, we kindly ask you to use them responsibly and to take weather conditions into account. If in doubt, please ask us first.
Bed linen and towels
Please treat the bed linen and towels with care. Sunscreen, self-tanner, make-up and certain skincare products can cause permanent stains.
When removing make-up, please use your own or disposable cleansing wipes where possible. After applying sunscreen or self-tanner, please wash your hands thoroughly before using our towels.
